Issue 2 | December 23, 2022

Welcome

I'm Anna, this week's curator and your guide through another week of activities in the Podcasting Discord community.

While Musk was putting his future as Twitter CEO up for a vote, we were busy with wishful thinking in the #general channel.

What might a group of podcasters want from the year ahead? Some of the answers include:

  • Evolving beyond audio

  • Posting daily TikToks

  • Crushing the podcast scene in Ireland

Time goes by, but editing and marketing are still the top concerns for podcast creators. And with (what feels like) the meltdown of social media platforms, it seems like the only positive things are the friends and connections we made along the way ✨

This community runs thanks to you, dear readers, the amazing team of moderators — Tal, Keelin, Jay, Matthew — who keep it safe and sane, and Arielle, the mastermind behind it all.

Happy holidays and see you next week!

— Anna

P.s. we're looking to add one more moderator to the Discord. Please reach out if you're in a timezone far away from the U.S.
